NHL goals saved above expected
Goals saved above expected (GSAx): the expected goals of every unblocked shot a goalie faced, minus the goals he allowed. Above zero is stopping more than the shots predict.

How to read it
Save percentage treats every shot the same. Goals saved above expected does not: a goalie behind a team that gives up chances from the slot faces harder shots, and GSAx credits him for it. It is the best single number here for how much a goalie is adding beyond his defence.
