How Pucks & Stats handles personal data: what is collected, what is stored on your device and what a venue receives from a partner link.

Draft for legal review. This text describes how the site works today and is checked by counsel before launch.

Who we are

Pucks & Stats is published by OneTwenty Group, which is responsible for the personal data described on this page. Questions about it go to [email protected].

What we collect

  • Server logs. When you load a page, our web server records the request: the address requested, the time, your IP address and your browser’s user agent. We use these logs to keep the site running and secure.
  • No accounts. You can read everything without an account, and we never ask for your name, email or payment details.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep the message and your address to reply and to handle any correction.
  • Analytics. We do not run analytics today. If we add a measurement tool, this page will name it, say what it collects and explain how to opt out before it goes live.

Cookies and storage on your device

The site sets no cookies for readers and stores nothing in your browser: no advertising, tracking or preference cookies, and no local or session storage. Fonts, images and team logos are served from our own domain, so reading a page does not contact anyone else. Following a partner link is the only time you leave the site.

Links to prediction-market venues are partner links. When you follow one, you leave Pucks & Stats and the venue receives the visit, which can include a tag identifying us as the referrer. What the venue does with your data is covered by its own privacy policy. Venues send us commission reports; these do not identify you.

We process server logs for our legitimate interest in running a secure site, and messages in order to answer them. We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the companies that host and secure the site, under contracts that limit how they use it, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Server logs: deleted after 30 days.
  • Emails: kept for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of any correction we made.
  • We hold no other personal data about readers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to its use, and to complain to a data protection authority. To use these rights, email [email protected]. We reply within one month.

Children

The site is for adults. Prediction-market venues are open only to people aged 18 or 21 and over, depending on location, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We update this policy when the way the site works changes, and show the date of the last update at the bottom of the page.
