What is the Norris Trophy?

The Norris Trophy goes to the defenceman with the greatest all-round ability. The vote is by the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association, cast at the end of the regular season. It is handed out after the season, so a price here is the market’s view of a race that runs until the last regular-season game.

A price of 25¢ means about a one-in-four chance in the market’s view. Award markets are thin early in the season, and one hot month can move a price a long way.
