What is the Selke Trophy?

The Selke Trophy goes to the forward who best excels in the defensive side of the game. The vote is by the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association, cast at the end of the regular season. It is handed out after the season, so a price here is the market’s view of a race that runs until the last regular-season game.

A price of 25¢ means about a one-in-four chance in the market’s view. Award markets are thin early in the season, and one hot month can move a price a long way.
